(Trekking to 3 volcanic highlights!)

Krakatau

The three travelparts match up with some great and very active volcanoes of Indonesia. You can join this three part individually or you bring your favourits together like you wish.

A) Sulawesi & Sangihe :
At the northern tip of Sulawesi we can find the active volcanoes of Soputan and Lokong. On the northern islands of Sangihe we try to visit Awu, Karangetang and Ruang (12 days)

B) Krakatau:
This famous and very active Volcano in the middle of the Sumatra strait is the best "fire work" in Indonesia in the moment. A boat cruise will be our mean. (6 days)

C) East Java:
Of course we will spend enougth time at the classic volcanoes such as Semru, Bromo and Kawah Ijen. But we will also hike on the more exotic and emoted volconoes of Raung and Arjuno-Welirang. (16 days)

Demands and travelcomfort: Kraktau & East Java: Some steep climps up the volcanoes and the altitude up to 3700 meter makes this tour quite difficult. You definitely need be very fit for 10 hours hiking and carrying a day back-pack for yourself. The travel comfort is partly basic at the volcano and camps, because we are out in the nature. At the hotels and lodges the comfort is from local style to quite high.

Sulawesi & Sangihe: The volcano hiking is not very difficult, but you need to be fit for tropical climate and some rought underground to walk on. The travel comfort is naturally basic at the volcano and camps. At the local styled hotels the comfort is with private bath.
You need to bring your personal tent!
Included on our tour:
All transport of the group (taxi, bus, boot and jeeps); porters; cooks; a tent for 2 persons each during some excursions; full board base; drinking water, coffee and tea, also light alcoholic beverages with the meals, but limited by us; insurance to cancel the tour in case of health problems; entrance fees; tips; overnight in the hotels - standard double rooms or single double-rooms depending on your boodking.
